I chose to use this assignment in my ePortfolio because it was our largest project and I feel like it gives an insight into who I am. Bear Lake is my absolute favorite place in the whole world which made this assignment both easy and difficult. It was easier because I could easily match the blues of the sky and lake from my memory. These memories also helped me be able to portray the feeling I wanted in this area. I wanted it to be light and flowy and kind of cold like the beach would be.

            This project demonstrates what I learned in class as far as a slight Shibui feel in the sense that everything is light colors and textures. If I had used different decorations and rugs it would look and feel entirely different. This project also shows my learning in considering how the room should feel and flow. This is shown in my above description of the feeling but also in how I used similar materials or colors from area to area.
